I just spent all weekend in a Christian think tank and the discussion was sobering. The greed and evil intentions of very wealthy and powerful people is staggering, and it's no happenstance that our young people are as individualistic, self-centered, and "blind" as they are. Almost every awful thing you can think of is well-orchestrated, and even those who think they are non-sheeple are sheeple (myself included), manipulated and deceived to the nth degree. Some hard things are coming. My mind is just blown.
The remnant Church is the party you're not going to want to miss! Exciting things are going to go on there.
So when the ship is going down, the singular focus becomes getting as many people onto the lifeboat as possible. As individuals, we may not be able to make a difference in everyone's life, but we can touch the one's we can. I love the Starfish Story so much it's on my website. When time is of the essence, you can't allow yourself to get slowed down by the ones who reject you (or reject Christ in you) or who aren't ready to listen. Lay them at Jesus' feet and move on to the next one, and the next one, and the next one.
Keep in mind this: when calamity strikes, often people's hearts pop open to Jesus. Jesus IS the savior! When bad things happen, that can be the vehicle that ushers in the greatest wave of rescues the world has ever seen!!!
Keep praying. Don't be distracted.
Don't stop!
