May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing...

Joy and peace are the result of BELIEVING!

How do you come to believe when....when you don't believe, at least not consistently?

I tell people all the time: Study God's love until fear leaves. His perfect love casts out, or gets rid of, fear (1 John 4:18). Fear is the opposite of joy and peace. If you want to have joy and peace, then the spirit of fear is a real enemy.

Try doing a word study on the word "love." Use your favorite Bible search tool or concordance to look up all the verses that contain the word "love" and curate a shorter list of pertinent scriptures which challenge fear and doubt. STAY THERE, keep studying, praying, and confessing that Word until fear leaves.

The vacuum created will be filled with joy and peace.

I remember the day I "got it." I was on a prayer walk, and suddenly the revelation descended on me from out of nowhere: "I don't have to worry about a thing!" And I started laughing. Laughter just bubbled up from way down inside. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for revealing that because of God's great love, I can rest in knowing that He will take care of everything. EVERYTHING!

"And whatever you ask in My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." (John 14:13)

"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." (John 15:16)

"Most assuredly I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you." (John 18:23)

"Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (Matthew 7:7)

Jack Hayford's commentary says this about Matthew 7:7: "The word 'ask' denotes insistent asking without qualms, not 'commanding' God, but solidly presenting a requisition whose items He longs to distribute."

Hence, it is imperative that we continue to read and to study God's Word so that we *know* what His will is and what are the "items He longs to distribute."

Oh, praise the Lord!!!
