Good morning!

Somehow, I accidentally went to work an hour early today.....so here we are!

I have probably shared this before, but I feel prompted to say it again. Years ago someone, I think my pastor, said that when you feel under heavy attack, or come out from under it, ask yourself what you were doing or what was going on before the attack started. Very often, that is what the attack was about. To ruin something good or stop.you.dead.in.your.tracks.

I feel a darkness taunting me, threatening me. I feel that the enemy is upset about inroads with my sons, and my family in general. He wants to stop me from praying, stop me from ministering to others, get me distracted putting out fires. Nursing hurt feelings. Processing anger so I can forgive. Wrestling with fear.

What were you doing before the most recent ambush? What was going on? Were there signs of breakthrough in any area of your life? Were you stepping up your prayer life? Did you decide to fast? Did you start going to the gym?

I don't think I am ever going to forget these words spoken by a well-known Bible teacher: "DEFY HIM!"

So simple....that's what we're supposed to do! We're not supposed to give up. We're not supposed to conclude that whatever is not working. We are to DEFY HIM.

Get back in the saddle.

Go back to what you were doing.

Pick that cross back up.

Keep walking.

Shake the dust off.

WIELD YOUR AUTHORITY, USE YOUR SWORD!

Straighten your crown, sons and daughters. It's not over until the fat lady sings. Or Jesus returns. Whichever comes first!
